LEAD ACTRESS PATRICIA ARQUETTE
TO RECEIVE COVETED CRYSTAL NYMPH AWARD AT THE
55th ANNUAL MONTE-CARLO TELEVISION FESTIVAL

Monaco, 9 June, 2015 – Academy Award, Emmy Award and Golden Globe Award winning actress Patricia Arquette will receive the prestigious Crystal Nymph Award at the milestone 55th anniversary Monte-Carlo Television Festival, it was announced today by Laurent Puons, CEO of the Festival.  Arquette will receive the honor at the Festival’s Opening Ceremony on June 13.

Arquette, who is the reigning Academy Award winner for Supporting Actress and Golden Globe winner for Actress in a Supporting Role for “Boyhood,” stars in the CBS drama series “CSI: CYBER,” the latest installment of the hugely successful “CSI” franchise.

The Crystal Nymph Award is presented to a major international television actor to recognize a stellar body of work.  Donald Sutherland was the inaugural Crystal Nymph honoree in 2013.

“Patricia is one of today’s most talented dramatic actresses, and it is an honor to present our prestigious award to an Academy, Emmy and Golden Globe Award winning performer,” Puons commented.  “Patricia is a truly international actress and she will add star wattage to this milestone edition of the Monte-Carlo Television Festival.”

Arquette’s most recent film and television credits include the Academy Award winning “Boyhood” and the role of Avery Ryan in "CSI: CYBER," the recent spinoff of CBS’ “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," the flagship series of the franchise, which has again been nominated for  the prestigious International Television Audience Award .  Other previous credits include “Medium,” which she received numerous accolades including an Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series in 2005 and many subsequent Emmy, Golden Globe and SAG Award nominations,  “Boardwalk Empire,” "Wildflower," "Bringing Out the Dead," "Stigmata," "Ed Wood," "Flirting with Disaster," "Human Nature," and "True Romance."
