MONTE-CARLO, 18 June – Winners of the prestigious Golden Nymph Awards were announced this evening at the 55th Monte-Carlo Television Festival.  Golden Nymphs covering a range of categories from television films, mini-series, drama and comedy series and news documentaries as well as a number of accolades including the International TV Audience Award; the Prince Rainier III Special Prize were presented during the star-studded Awards Ceremony at the Grimaldi Forum. 

This evening, H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco was joined on the red carpet by many leading US and international celebrities including an array of talent from hit television series such as The Missing, 1864, Anzac Girls, Bankerot, Secrets & Lies, Lilyhammer 3, Welcome to Sweden, Love Child, Marvellous, The Bold & the Beautiful, The Night Shift, How I Met Your Mother, Vampire Diaries, Vikings, Empire, Texas Rising, 12 Monkeys, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Grimm, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, NCIS, NCIS: New Orleans, Agent Carter, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Criminal Minds, Grey’s Anatomy, How to Get Away With Murder, Aquarius and Rectify.

Also, in celebration of the Festival’s 55th anniversary edition, stars from iconic television series attended the event including Stefanie Powers (Hart to Hart), Lindsay Wagner (The Bionic Woman), Lee Majors (The Six Million Dollar Man), Antonio Fargas (Starsky & Hutch) and Stepfanie Kramer (Hunter).

Other highlights of the 55th Monte-Carlo Television Festival included the Content & Multimedia Experience; a number of premiere screenings; personal appearances and autograph and selfie sessions as well as glamorous receptions, all of which contribute to the magical atmosphere of Monaco.
This year more than 250 journalists from around the world were present to cover this unique international television festival attended by the creative forces of the industry.
