Monaco, 18 May - Laurent Puons, CEO of the Monte-Carlo Television Festival today announced the participation of a host of leading actors, journalists, producers and directors at the event's upcoming 56th edition (12th - 16th June), as members of the Fiction Jury and News Jury for the prestigious Golden Nymph Awards are confirmed.

Over the course of the Festival, the Fiction Jury will judge the best programs, actors and actresses in three categories: Long Fiction Programmes (includes anthologies, television films and mini-series), Comedy TV Series and Drama TV Series, with a total of eighteen international hits in consideration.

Members of the Fiction Jury will include Golden Globe and two-time Emmy nominated producer Rola Bauer, CEO/Producer at Tandem Productions and STUDIOCANAL executive; renowned film and television actress Stepfanie Kramer (Hunter); multi-award-winning drama producer and Carnival Films' CEO Gareth Neame (Downton Abbey, The Last Kingdom); acclaimed theatre, film and television actor Aurélien Recoing (Blue is the Warmest Colour, Trepalium) and one of Japan's most highly regarded film and television actors Hiroyuki Sanada (Helix, The Wolverine).

At the same time, the News Jury will select, from a shortlist of international, national, regional news and current affairs events, the best programs in four categories: News Documentaries, Current Affairs Documentaries, 24-Hour News Programs & TV News Items.

The News Jury will be comprised of veteran Spanish journalist, news anchor & correspondent Rosa María Calaf; journalist and award-winning director Yasmina Farber (Les Enfants du Seigneur); and renowned investigative journalist and editor of SVT's internationally successful Mission Investigate Nils Hanson. Also participating will be senior producer at NHK Japan and International Emmy award winner Daisuke Koyama (Back from the Brink: Inside the Chilean Mine Disaster), and journalist, writer and presenter Françoise Laborde, president of charity PFDM (Pour les Femmes dans les médias), vice-president of Refuge, and knight of both the Legion of Honour and France's National Order of Merit.

Winners will be announced in presence of HSH Prince Albert II at the Grimaldi Forum on Thursday 16th June.
