The 51st Monte-Carlo Television Festival scheduled 6-10 June 2011 and presided over H.S.H. Crown Prince Albert II, has announced the news programs nominees.
This international competition will gather 37 programs from 19 countries as follows 19 News Documentaries, 12 TV News Items and 6 24-Hour News Programmes.

Other highlights of the 51st Monte-Carlo Television Festival include the "TV Xchanges" - a unique gathering for producers, programming decision makers, governmental and regional institutions - the international television program competition and awards, premiere screenings.
More than 300 journalists from around the world are present to cover this international Television Festival attended by the creative forces of the industry.
