It’s THE most awaited TV show of 2023! Similarly to video games like Halo and Resident Evil, The Last of Us is getting a spectacular TV adaptation orchestrated by the American channel HBO. This eponymous series takes place in a post-apocalyptic world, after a virus devastated the population in 2003. 20 years later, the last survivors try their best to get through this universe filled with infected people where anarchy reigns. The story focuses on Joel (Pedro Pascal) who is tasked with smuggling a young girl, Ellie (Bella Ramsey), across the United States because she could be the key to saving humanity.

If you were thrilled by Euphoria, HBO is back with The Idol, the new project of Sam Levinson and The Weeknd. Between shocking images, flashy colors and its dark atmosphere, this mini-series promises to be sultry. The story follows Jocelyn (Lily-Rose Depp), a pop star who goes from concert to concert, rehearsals, music video shoots and parties in Los Angeles. She meets Tedros (The Weeknd), a cocaine addict who is part nightclub owner, part cult guru. In addition to its five-star casting, the TV show will adapt for the screen "the most sordid love story in all of Hollywood".

Nick Fury is back! After a long radio silence since Avengers: Endgame, Samuel L. Jackson will make his comeback in Secret Invasion which will be released on Disney+ later this year. The SHIELD boss will have to face the Skrulls, an alien race able to transform into anyone. In this way, Nick Fury will have to fight against these creatures that have gradually infiltrated our favorite characters of the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe). The cast also includes Emilia Clarke, Olivia Colman, Cobie Smulders, Don Cheadle and Martin Freeman.

She made a grand entrance in season 2 of The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett series! We are talking about Ahsoka Tano, Anakin Skywalker's former apprentice. Starring Rosario Dawson, the TV show will take place shortly after her meeting with Din Djarin and Grogu, aka Baby Yoda, and will reveal her mysterious past. "Set after the fall of the Empire, Ahsoka follows the former Jedi knight Ahsoka Tano as she investigates an emerging threat to a vulnerable galaxy....", reveals the official synopsis. Ahsoka, a series to be discovered in 2023 on Disney+.

Did you like Ted Lasso? You'll love Shrinking! In this series produced by Apple TV+, Harrison Ford and Jason Segel will share the screen to offer us a good dose of humor cleverly distilled. The TV show focuses on a therapist dealing with severe grief who starts breaching ethical barriers by telling his patients what he really thinks. A far from conventional method that will change their lives as well as his own. The 10-episode series Shrinking will air starting January 27.

While waiting to discover the long-awaited season 3 of Bridgerton, Julia Quinn's novels are getting a new TV adaptation with the series Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story. This new production signed by Shonda Rhimes will follow the youth of Charlotte (India Amarteifio), betrothed - against her will - to George (Corey Mylchreest), the future king of England. Promising to unravel the mysteries surrounding the future sovereign's past and her rise to the throne, this TV show focused on Queen Charlotte should once again give us a good dose of dresses, frills and period stories.
