Generative AI, a type of artificial intelligence which can produce various types of content such as text and image, is the technology which has seen the fastest adoption rate ever seen in history. However, what does it mean for storytelling? From writing stories, to directing, to content creation, AI is likely to have a massive disruptive effect on the audio-visual sector. Can humans stay in control? What impact will it have on story diversity? What are the opportunities?
