The Monte-Carlo Television Festival launches its call for entries for the 2022 Golden Nymph Awards

It's time! As the 61st edition of the Monte-Carlo Television Festival will take place in June, as it does every year, submissions for the 2022 Golden Nymph Awards have started.

Receiving an award in the Golden Nymph Awards on the big stage of the Grimaldi Forum is a moment that every fiction creator, producer or actor dreams of experiencing one day at the Monte-Carlo Television Festival. And to have a chance to win one of the trophies, one has to send in their submission. The good news is that they have just opened for the 61st edition that will take place in 2022.

The Monte-Carlo Television Festival has just launched its call for entries for this renowned competition. A chance to join the incredible list of past winners such as Borgen, The Killing, Modern Family, Breaking Bad, It's a Sin, Money Heist, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Das Boot, Escape at Dannemora for the series. Or Patricia Arquette, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Gregory Montel, Benedict Cumberbatch, Richard Madden, Paul Bettany, Ewan McGregor, Jenna Coleman among the talents.

On June 21, 2022, no less than six Golden Nymph Awards will be awarded in the Fiction categories: Best Film, Best Series, Best Creation, Best Actress, Best Actor and the Jury Special Prize. As for the News section, it has been slightly modified for this new edition, with three Golden Nymph Awards that will be given to Best News Program, Best Documentary and the Jury Special Prize. These three prizes are now combined into a single News & Documentaries category.

Fans, always present and enthusiastic at each edition of the Monte-Carlo Television Festival, will be able to attend the screenings of the nominated programs, as Laurent Puons, Executive Vice President, tells us:

« As every year, the Golden Nymph Awards will honour the best content in global television production. The incredible multiplication of viewing possibilities on all types of screens and the significant growth in productions are leading to an increasingly exciting competition. Our goal is always to highlight the very best content that entertains and engages viewers and to raise awareness of the myriad topics that affect our planet today. The News category rewards material that gives a fresh insight and clear understanding of important, current issues, whilst our Fiction category shines a light on the most striking productions and performances of the year. We look forward to receiving entries from producers, distributors and creators who wish to showcase their programs on the world stage. »

This call for entries for the 2022 Golden Nymphs Awards gets started today, January 6, 2022, and submissions close on Thursday, March 24, 2022. And the Festival will be held from June 17 to 21, 2022 for its 61st edition.
