20/05/2025

The Monte-Carlo Television Festival is proud to announce the very first recipient of its newly established Digital Award, created to honour innovation, creativity and the cultural impact of digital-native talent.

This inaugural accolade will be presented to Squeezie a leading figure in the French-speaking digital world, during the prestigious Golden Nymph Awards Ceremony on June 17, 2025, at the Salle des Princes in the Grimaldi Forum.

SQUEEZIE

With over 19 million YouTube subscribers, Squeezie has become France’s most prominent content creator over the past decade, constantly redefining the landscape of digital entertainment. Known for his original formats, immersive concepts, and ability to captivate a massive and loyal audience, Squeezie stands as a trailblazer in the digital sphere.

Every Wednesday, Squeezie hosts a highly anticipated livestream on Twitch, strengthening his connection with a vibrant and engaged community. In 2022, he reshaped the boundaries of entertainment by launching the GP Explorer, the first Formula 4 competition featuring only content creators. The first two editions shattered Twitch's France viewership records, and a third edition is already scheduled for October 2025.

A multi-talented entrepreneur, Squeezie also co-founded the esports team Gentle Mates alongside fellow creators Gotaga and Brawks. In May 2025, he ventured into the wellness market with the launch of his kombucha brand, CIAO, which met with instant success.
The first content creator to be featured at the Musée Grévin, Squeezie also made a notable return to streaming platforms with Merci Internet, a Prime Video documentary released in January 2024.

The Digital Award honours his entire body of work and highlights the increasing influence of digital creators in today’s evolving audiovisual ecosystem.

By awarding Squeezie, the Monte-Carlo Television Festival continues to affirm its visionary spirit, spotlighting emerging formats and embracing the artistic and technological transformations that are reshaping the industry.

"Honouring Squeezie with the first-ever Digital Award is about more than celebrating online success — it’s about recognising a creative force, a storytelling visionary, and a generational leader. Through his innovative content, collaborative spirit and narrative instinct, he has helped define a new artistic language for the digital age,” said Cécile Menoni, Executive Director of the Festival.

An official competition for the Digital Award will be launched at the Festival’s 65th edition in 2026.
