Read moreWith just two months to go until the opening of the 65th Monte-Carlo Television Festival, we are pleased to reveal the first major names set to be honoured: Kurt Russell and Dame Kristin Scott Thomas, recipients of this year’s Crystal Nymphs in recognition of their outstanding careers. Their presence in Monaco is expected to be a major highlight of this anniversary edition, offering a rare opportunity for both audiences and industry professionals to celebrate two iconic talents in the Festival’s unique and intimate setting.
Dame Kristin Scott Thomas will be honoured during the Opening Ceremony on
June 12. One of the most respected Franco-British actresses of her generation, she has built a distinguished career across film, theatre and television.
Most recently seen in the acclaimed series Slow Horses, she continues to take on high-end television projects, while also expanding her creative scope. Her directorial debut, My Mother’s Wedding, which she wrote, directed and starred in, marks a significant new chapter in her career.


Kurt Russell will receive his award during the Closing Ceremony on June 16. A long-standing figure in American film and television, Russell began his career on the small screen, notably through productions with The Walt Disney Company, before becoming a major Hollywood presence.
He has recently returned to television with Monarch: Legacy of Monsters and will next appear in the highly anticipated series The Madison, underlining his continued involvement in major global productions.
With tributes, special encounters and celebrations, this 65th edition is set to be an unmissable event on the international audiovisual calendar. Monte-Carlo is preparing to come alive with the world’s greatest talents. Stay tuned for more exciting announcements coming soon!
