Every decade has its pick of popular shows. Today, we’re going back to the early 00s with 6 must-see TV series that were all the rage at that time. The evidence being that we’re still talking a lot about them today. Focus.

The Wire uses some documentary codes to paint this social fresco taking place in Baltimore. Drug trafficking, smuggling and social division are at the heart of the show. Recently, the show lost one of its protagonists, Omar, with the sudden death of Michael K. Williams.

With the help of his brothers, Reese and Dewey, he’s gonna paint the town red and make their parents live a nightmare. Funny, touching and quirky, Malcolm in The Middle is a part of the most popular comedy from the 00s. Nothing less.

Led by Chad Michael Murray, Sophia Bush, James Lafferty or Hilarie Burton, One Tree Hill tells the stories of highschoolers living in the fictional town of Tree Hill. First loves, family issues and difficulties to become young adults are few of the several themes addressed in the show.
