March TV shows to watch

10/03/2021

March is here: spring and sunny days are coming, and many series with them. Here is a selection of what's in store for you in the upcoming days.

The Crimson Rivers - Season 3

The third season of the French thriller debuts on March 8 with a new episode on public channel France 2. Commissioner Pierre Niémans (Olivier Marchal) and Lieutenant Camille Delaunay (Erika Sainta) are reunited for new investigations just as dark as the previous ones, and painful memories of the past may resurface... This new season is challenging for both characters, and no one can come out unscathed.

Dealer

Two cameramen who came to film a rap video in a city in the south of France find themselves at the heart of a gang war. Filmed with a camera on the shoulder, this new Netflix-labeled French show promises viewers an intense and violent dive into the heart of a tough neighborhood and a rivalry as deadly as it is explosive. The miniseries, comprised of 10 episodes lasting 10 minutes each, gets released on March 10.

The One

A British sci-fi series reminiscent of a Black Mirror story, The One explores the world of dating sites, with a method far too invasive and dangerous. The synopsis tells us: love stories and lies erupt when a DNA researcher discovers a way to identify soul mates and creates a novel dating service. Obviously, while love is at the rendezvous at first, things quickly turn sour in this psychological thriller... March 12, on Netflix.

Sky Rojo

Forget about robberies and Salvador Dalí masks, Alex Pina, the Money Heist creator, takes us on a whole new adventure. Three women, Coral, Wendy and Gina, try their best to run away from a pimp's henchmen, as they crave freedom. Their journey takes them to dangerous places as they frantically race against the clock to stay alive. The cast includes Miguel Angel Silvestre, seen in Sense8 and soon in Money Heist. See you on March 19, on Netflix.

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier

Captain America is gone, and his succession needs to be found. His two best friends, Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie) and Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan) return to work on a new mission that promises to be explosive. They come across a well-known enemy: Baron Zemo (Daniel Brühl), who makes a comeback after the movie Captain America: Civil War. The new Marvel series arrives on March 19 on Disney+ and the first season consists of six short episodes.

Invincible

Lastly, your final March release date to be saved is about a show to be found on Prime Video: Invincible, an animated series based on the comic-book character of the same name. We follow Mark Grayson, a teenager whose father is the most powerful superhero on the planet. But his daily life changes when he discovers his own powers. What's the cast? Steven Yeun, J.K Simmons, Sandra Oh, Seth Rogen, Zazie Beetz, Mark Hamill, Walton Goggins... Yes, that's right. All eight episodes of this Amazon show arrive on March 26.
