While the TV catalogues offers their fair share of novelties as always, some shows are bowing out after delighting the audiences for several seasons. Here are six of them that bid farewell to the fans in 2021.

Lucifer

After six devilishly captivating seasons, Lucifer came to an end last September with the arrival of its eight ultimate episodes on Netflix. The show starring Tom Ellis has therefore offered a moving and unexpected (to say the least) conclusion to the fans, in which the famous devil gave up his life with Chloe to help the souls stuck in hell to reach heaven.

Money Heist

While fans were able to discover the beginning of the end last September, December 3 sounded the final stop for the famous Spanish robbers. The Professor, Denver, Rio, Helsinki, Lisbon, and the rest of the gang are finally done with their crazy adventures, after having marked the history of TV shows for 4 years. A finale strong in emotion, which has been done in suffering and pain, but with constant passion and courage.

Sam Gardner has finally taken off. After 3 seasons centered on his adventures as a high school student, the young man with autism ended on a high note with his first steps in college and the beginning of his adult life in a season 4 full of maturity. The touching Netflix program led by Keir Gilchrist, Brigette Lundy-Paine, Michael Rapaport and Jennifer Jason Leigh came to an end last July, much to the disappointment of fans.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine

An iconic program among sitcoms, Brooklyn Nine-Nine said goodbye to its fans at the end of its eighth season. Jake Peralta, Rosa Diaz and the others gave their best to make their audience laugh one last time through the ten episodes of this final wave of crime solving in New York.

Insecure
Insecure

Created by Larry Wilmore and Issa Rae, Insecure has fascinated viewers for 5 years with its endearing characters and existential reflections. But all good things must come to an end, and the refreshing HBO comedy began airing its final episodes in October 2021. Enough to end 2021 smoothly, before turning the page for the new year.

Good Girls

Beth, Annie, and Ruby are done with their little delinquent schemes. The Good Girls did not get to go on beyond the end of season 4, released on Netflix in July 2021. A slightly abrupt end for the program carried by Christina Hendricks, which was originally supposed to continue with a fifth season. However, for financial reasons, NBC decided to cancel the series completely.
